HOW TO ENTER:


Here's how the challenge works:

  1. Watch our Instagram Story! On October 29, at approximately 8:00 p.m. EDT, a mystery riddle will be revealed.
  2. Solve the riddle! You'll have just 13 minutes from the moment it's posted to figure out the correct answer.
  3. Send us a DM! Message your answer directly to our Instagram account before the 13-minute window closes.


🏆 The first person to DM the correct answer wins!

⏳ Once the 13 minutes are up, the challenge is officially CLOSED! No late answers will be accepted, even if they're correct.

You only get one shot at beating the clock, so be ready when that riddle drops!


BONUS: Didn't solve the riddle first? Don't worry, there's still a little magic in participating!

Everyone who submits an answer during the 13-minute challenge window will receive 1 BONUS ENTRY into The Grand Haunting, even if their answer isn't correct!

Maximum one bonus entry per person for Day 11.


Prize specific terms


  • Challenge Date: October 29, 2026.
  • Start Time: Approximately 8:00 p.m. EDT, when the riddle is published to our Instagram Story.
  • Entry Deadline: Exactly 13 minutes after the riddle is posted. The challenge will close automatically at the end of this period, regardless of whether a correct answer has been received.
  • How to Enter: Participants must submit their answer by direct message to Naughty Spots PhoDography on Instagram within the 13-minute challenge window. Comments, story replies that do not reach our direct messages, and submissions through other platforms will not qualify.
  • Winner Selection: The first eligible participant to submit the correct answer by Instagram DM during the challenge window will be declared the winner. Instagram message timestamps will be used to determine submission order.
  • The Prize: $200 CAD photography credit plus up to $30 CAD in travel credit, for a combined maximum value of $230 CAD.
  • Redemption: Credits may be applied toward a new, regularly priced photography session with Naughty Spots PhoDography. Photography credit cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Validity: The photography session must take place by December 31, 2027.
  • Travel Credit: The $30 travel credit may be applied only toward applicable travel fees. Any unused travel credit has no cash value and cannot be applied toward other purchases.
  • Restrictions: Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or combined with other discounts, promotions, or giveaway prizes.
  • Additional Conditions: Standard booking requirements, session availability, and any applicable travel fees exceeding the credit still apply.
  • Grand Haunting Bonus Entry: Each eligible participant who submits an answer within the challenge window receives one bonus entry into The Grand Haunting, regardless of whether the answer is correct. Multiple guesses do not earn additional bonus entries.


Official contest rules


1. Contest Period

13 Days of Tricks & Treats runs from October 19 to October 31, 2026. Each daily giveaway is open for the date specified on its individual contest page, with entries closing at 11:59 p.m. EDT unless otherwise stated.

2. Eligibility

Open to Canadian residents who are 18 years of age or older. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Individual prizes may require the purchase of a photography session or other services to redeem their value, as specified in the prize-specific terms.

3. How to Enter

Follow the entry instructions provided for each daily giveaway. Entries must be received before the stated deadline. Entries that do not meet the applicable requirements may be disqualified.

4. Winners & Notification

Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries unless otherwise specified. Winners will be contacted directly by Naughty Spots PhoDography.

5. The Grand Haunting

Eligible participation in daily giveaways earns bonus entries into The Grand Haunting, our Halloween grand prize draw. The grand prize winner will be selected on October 31, 2026 at 8:00 P.M. EDT. Each daily giveaway awards 1 bonus grand prize entry per eligible participant unless otherwise stated. Additional ways to enter may be announced on social media.

6. Prize Conditions

Prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services. Prizes cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions, or contest prizes unless explicitly stated. Additional conditions and expiry dates may apply to individual prizes.

7. General Conditions

Naughty Spots PhoDography reserves the right to verify entries, disqualify fraudulent participation, and modify, suspend, or cancel a giveaway where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable laws.
